Book Design

Designed and output a book on a topic of my choice, the book needed to be thematic or tell a story. It needed to have 12 or 16 pages or more if justified. My book had to be produced using up to 4 process colours. Final trim size was my choice. I needed to consider how it would be printed and bound. I had to source or create my own text and images. The style of book I produced influenced how much type went into it. I had to include an EAN13 barcode for scanning when purchased and an ISBN publisher’s number. I needed to use imagery, typography, colour and supporting design elements that would help convey the message and appeal to my chosen target audience.
